Pop Up Postcards: The Whimsical Architecture
Sold Out
Peranakans are the descendants of Chinese immigrants who came to the Malay archipelago between the 15th - 17th century. A typical Peranakan house's interior is tiled in exquisitely patterned tiles. The magnificent Cheong Fatt Tze mansion was built in the 1880s, combining Eastern and Western designs, with louvred windows and Art Nouveau stained glass.
